In the summer of 2007, Brandon and Courtney felt God calling them to step out of their comfort zone and plant a church in downtown Mansfield. After much counseling and of course prayer, and with the blessing of their home church they were sent out to start this work. (or as Brandon calls it home)

Having been raised in Mansfield and seeing the town grow up Brandon has a passion for the forgotten heart of the city. The calling of Mansfield Faith to be a church that reaches out to community is seen in all aspects of teaching and programming of the church.

Brandon grew up in the church but never understood what it meant to truly be saved, while serving in the army Brandon knew he needed saving. So in his barracks room in Korea he accepted the work of the cross in his life and soon after that felt called into ministry.

Brandon attended Southwestern Assemblies of God University, while serving as a Jr High Youth intern in Mansfield, after college Brandon moved to Glendale, Arizona to serve as Youth Pastor at Hope Chapel. Upon returning to Texas Brandon established Edge Ministries which exists to help the local church set up and develop healthy youth ministries.

In addition to Edge Ministries, Brandon has filled in at various churches as interim youth pastor as he assisted them in the development and headed their search for a permanent youth minister. In addition he is a sought after speaker in youth ministry to lead camps, retreats and conferences.

He is currently pursuing his Master’s in Pastoral Ministries from Southwestern.

Pastor Brandon and his wife Courtney were married in August 2006 and welcomed the joy of their lives Samuel the following August. They all live together in Mansfield with their worthless dog Max.
